Step onto the floor of our production workshop, and the first thing that catches your eye is the rhythmic dance of sparks. Along a long row of welding electrodes, fine steel wires meet at precise intersections, and in a fraction of a second, each joint is fused with a bright flash. The machine you see in the photograph is one of our fully automatic welded wire mesh production lines. Raw steel wire, straightened and fed from large coils, is guided into position by a series of precision rollers. Longitudinal wires run continuously, while transverse wires are cut to exact lengths and dropped into place one row at a time. At every crossing point, a pair of copper electrodes delivers a controlled electric current. The heat generated is intense enough to melt the surface of both wires, creating a metallurgical bond that is far stronger than any mechanical twist or tie. Within milliseconds, the joint cools and solidifies, and the mesh advances by one grid. The result is a uniform, rigid roll with perfectly square openings, every weld identical and every dimension consistent.
